This is a low-profile ceiling antenna for in-building cell phone signal boosters. With its thin form factor, you hardly even know it is there until you experience the increase in cellular signal.
The high-performance inside dome antenna is omnidirectional and transmits and receives signal in a 360-degree pattern. The Ultra-thin SC-528W is designed to cover 2G/3G/4G/5G and WLAN systems for Cellular, PCS, AWS, and LTE frequencies.
For comparison, the maximum gain for this antenna is +8 dBi and the maximum gain for the wideband standard dome (SC-222W) is +5 dBi - the difference between these two antennas effectively doubles the coverage area.
